Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you type or draw into a PenSignature tool is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to us. Your name, your drawn strokes, your email signature details and every image you export stay on your own device.

What we do not collect

• Names, signatures or drawings entered into any tool on this site
• Contact details entered into the email signature generator
• Images you upload to the email signature generator — these are read locally by your browser and never transmitted
• Any account information, because PenSignature has no accounts and no login

There is no upload endpoint on this site. The tools are client-side JavaScript; the server only ever sends you the page.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard server request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for the purposes of serving pages, security and abuse prevention. We do not combine this with anything you enter into the tools, because we never receive what you enter into the tools.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are used, and we may display advertising to fund the site. Where third-party advertising or analytics is used, those providers may set cookies or similar identifiers subject to their own policies. If Google services are used for this purpose, Google’s handling is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Any such provider receives page-level traffic data only — never the contents of a signature tool.

Cookies

PenSignature’s own tools do not require cookies to function. Any cookies present come from the third-party analytics or advertising described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting the signature tools.

Third-party resources

Handwriting typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives the request as a normal web request, including your IP address. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. No text you enter is sent as part of these requests.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Since the tools collect nothing, there is nothing for us to hold.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not hold signature data or account data, there is generally nothing for us to return or erase — but if you believe we hold information about you, write to us and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
